Hello, why are electrons attracted to Earth? It is a very well known and proven fact that Earth attracts electrons. By making more researches into it, the answer as why electrons are attracted earth was because the ground is positively charged. However the ground is negatively charged, which should not attract the electrons. I also learned that the core of the Earth is positively charged (because of its heat ionizing the atoms). And I also made a hypothesis: electrons are attracted to the core of the Earth, even though the negative charge of the Earth's surface. We could compare it to a funnel, with which electrons constantly enter the inner core of the Earth, while the rest of electrons await the electrons in front of them entering, creating a sorte of a queue and explained why the ground is negatively charged.
It's only a two minutes made hypothesis but I would like to know if my hypothesis is somewhat correct or wrong, but also how is this working?

Antireflective coatings on solar cells are often made by applying a thin film of silicon nitride (sinx), which has an index of refractive of 1.2, on the top of the silicon solar cell, which has a refractive index of about 3.5. however, the sun emits radiation of various wavelengths which the solar cell absorbs, and the antireflective coating can only absolutely minimize the reflection of one of these wavelengths. the coating thickness is chosen to reduce the reflection of green/yellow light (e = 2.2 ev), which is the most intense color in the solar spectrum (shown below). which of the following coatings would minimize reflection of green/yellow light? the answer is 820 nm how? what is the angular width of the central maximum of an electron traveling at 2 x 108 m/s going through a single slit of width 1 mm.
