Explain the term balance point as applies to the Wheatstone Bridge

The main purpose of a Wheatstone bridge is that the accuracy of the measurement solely depends of the accuracy of the bridge components. The balance sensing device shall only give an indication of the unbalance amount, enabling the user to adjusting the bridge to balance.

To find the value of unknown resistance the deflection on galvanometer made to zero by adjusting the variable resistor. This point is known as balance point of Wheatstone bridge.
