you are provided with a uniform meter rule ,a knife edge a 50g mass and a piece of thread (i)balance the meter rule on the knife edge and record the scale mark G ,corresponding to the distance of its centre of gravity from the end of the rule (ii) suspend the given mass from the meter rule such that X = 2cm as shown (iii) balance the meter rule with the mass hanging on the knife edge (iv) repeat the experiment with x= 4,6,8,10 and 12cm respectively .in each case record the position of the pivot and determine the corresponding value of d and y (v) tabulate your reading ( vi) plot a graph with d on the vertical axis and y on the horizontal axis (vii) determine the slop ,S, of th graph (viii) state two precaution taken to ensure accurate results​
