A student is carried out an experiment to find the specific heat capacity of an aluminum block.
Heat is supplied by an electric heater and a thermometer is used to measure the temperatures.
Thw student record the following data.
Mass of the block = 2.0 kg
Power of heating element = 420 W
Time of heating = 95 s
Initial temperature = 19.5 degree celcius
Final temperature = 19.5 degree celcius
Using the data, calculate the specific heat capacity of the Aluminum block. (You must write the
formula/formulae used in your calculation)
