Taylor was very excited today because her science teacher told the class that they would be making electromagnets in lab class.
Taylor and her partner created an electromagnet by wrapping a copper wire around an iron nail. When they connected the wire ends to a battery, they were able to lift 3 paperclips with their electromagnet. The teacher wanted them to modify it so that it could lift more paperclips.
Explain how Taylor and her partner could modify the electromagnet so that it will lift 6 paperclips.
