A lightbulb has a 0.22m length of a tungsten wire filament. The filament has a resistance of 19 Ohms at 20 degrees celsius. The filament has a resistance of 240 Ohms when the lightbulb is operated at a potential difference of 120 volts. Please show all work for the following questions. A. Calculate the cross sectional area of the tungsten filament.
B. Explain why the resistance of the tungsten filament increases when the bulb is being operated compared to the resistance of the filament at 20 degrees celsius.
C. Calculate the power of the bulb when it is being operated at a potential difference of 120 Volts.
