A string is wrapped around the central axis of a platform that's free to rotate. A 100g mass attached to the string falls, exerting a torque on the spinning platform. The empty platform has a rotational inertia of 1.75g*m^2. Two masses, m1 = 25g and m2= 35g, are attached to the top of the platform a distance of 15cm from the central axis. Once the 100g mass falls a distance of 1.31m, the string detaches from the central axis. At this point the 100g mass is moving downward at a speed of 0.96m/s. Find the maximum rotational speed of the rotating platform with masses m1 and m2 attached.
