An 0.252 kg object is initially moving at 23.4 m/s [E] along the ice. The coefficient of kinetic friction for the object and the ice is 0.00500. a. What is the speed of the object after travelling 48.3 m?

b. Once the ice become rougher, the coefficient of kinetic friction increases to 0.0475. How far will the object travel if its initial and final speeds are the same as before?
