Two pieces of thread are hung from a pole in a room without a draft. It assumed that they both carry a charge, however it is unknown what that charge is or if they are like charged or charged oppositely. Three items are brought to Thread A and then brought to Thread B. Two of those items pulled Thread A toward them while one item pushed it away. When the items were brought to Thread B, the same thing happened. 1. What can you tell me about the charges on Thread A in relationship to Thread B? 2. What can you tell me about the charges on the items in relationship to each other?
