A jet is flying horizontally at an altitude of 400m with a speed of 200m/s. The fighter pilot notices a 500m-long convoy of enemy battle tanks driving on a straight road directly below his flight path and decides to drop three bombs in succession. The bombs are dropped at intervals of 1 second . At the instant of release of the first bomb, the nearest end of the column is exactly 5800m away horizontally. (I)Sketch a picture of the aircraft and the three bombs in flight shortly after release as seen by someone on the ground near target area. Clearly indicate the position of the aircraft with respect to the bombs and draw the trajectories of each bomb from its current position to the point of make contact with the ground. (2)Determine the horizontal positions struck by the bombs relative to a point directly below the aircraft when the pilot first squeezes the trigger.
