A truck with a mass of 1500kg pulls a car with a mass of 1000kg over a rough surface. The frictional force between the four wheels of the truck and the road is 150N. The frictional force between the car's four wheels and the road is 100N. The mass of the rope can be ignored. 1) Calculate the acceleration of the system if the engine of the truck exerts a 500N force forward on the truck.
2) Calculate the tension in the rope.
3) Draw a free body diagram to show all the forces on the car.
4) Draw a free body diagram to show all the forces on the truck.
