Your consulting firm receives a call from a client in Elkhart, KS who needs to know how much current flows through the components of a control circuit for the Elkhart Coop grain silos. As Elkhart is a long way away and the internet is down, you take the following description down over the phone: the circuit consists of two loops. The loop I contains a 12 V battery in series with a 10 kW resistance. The loop II contains a 24 V battery in series with a series combination of two 20 kW resistors. Both loops are completed with a common variable load resistance RL.
Required:
a. Draw the circuit.
b. Find all the currents for an open circuit load resistance.
c. Find all the currents for a short circuit load resistance.
d. Find all the currents for a 10 k, load resistance.
