Heat engine uses one mole of air in ideal state as the working fluid operates between 350 K and 600 K temperatures according to Carnot cycle. Initially, the pressure is 10 atm. After the isothermal expansion step, the pressure has been reduced to 5 atm and after the isothermal compression step, the pressure is 3 atm. Calculate the thermal efficiency of this engine and calculate the work done in each step in this cycle. Given that for air, the ratio (= 1.4).
