A 0.5 kilogram cart on a frictionless track is moving at 3.0 meters per second at position A in the diagram below.
Calculate the gravitational potential energy of the cart at position A.
(.5kg)(9.81m/s^2)(1.5m)= 7 J
Determine the kinetic energy of the cart when it reaches position B.
Calculate the amount of kinetic energy of the cart at position C.
