Two friends practice shooting with BB guns. Both BB guns use the same .005 kg pellets. One of the friends is using a more forceful air-gun, though, and fired their pellet at 75 m/s, while the other's toy fires pellets at 56 m/s. They stand side-by-side and carefully aim at the same soda can. They both successfully hit the can at the same time. Their pellets punch through the front of the can, but become trapped inside. If the pellets and can fly off directly away from the shooters at 1.3 m/s, what was the mass of the can before getting hit? Assume both pellets hit the can dead-center.
