⤥ We use different types of devices in our life to make our work easier. A spade is used to dig , a broom is used to sweep , a hammer is used to pass a nail on the wall and a plank is used to drag a load up to a certain height. All these simple things or devices , which are used in our daily life are called simple machines. Such simple machines do not do our work themselves but we have to use force on them to work with them. Thus , Simple machines are those tools or devices which make our work easier and convenient to do in the direction of force.
