Compare the structures for genetics with every day objects. Must include genes, DNA, chromosomes, and nucleus. You may add the appropriate picture if needed.
Example 1: The nucleus of a cell is a book that contains all the pages of information. One page is a chromosome. All the lines of writing in the book is the DNA and one word is a gene giving specific information.
Example 2: Using the picture below as a model, the basket is the nucleus of a cell which contains the chromosomes shown as the balls of yarn. All of the yarn is the DNA while the specific shaded sections represent the individual genes.

Unpolarized light falls on two polarizer sheets whose transmission axes are at right angles. a third polarizer is placed between the first two so that its axis makes a 52-degree angle with the axis of the first polarizer. a) what fraction of the incident light intensity is transmitted through the first polaroid? b) what fraction of the incident light intensity is transmitted through the second polaroid? c) what is the angle of polarization of the light that enters the third polaroid? d) what fraction of the incident light intensity is transmitted through the third polaroid. e) what happens if the middle polaroid is removed?

At 20∘c, the hole in an aluminum ring is 2.800 cm in diameter. you need to slip this ring over a steel shaft that has a room-temperature diameter of 2.804 cm . 1. to what common temperature should the ring and the shaft be heated so that the ring will just fit onto the shaft? coefficients of linear thermal expansion of steel and aluminum are 12×10−6 k−1 and23×10−6 k−1 respectively.
