A group of students performed an experiment to investigate various properties of a
vibrating string, including: the tension on the string, the wave speed, the wave
amplitude, the wave frequency, and the wavelength. They were able to keep some
properties constant, while changing others and taking accurate measurements. In the
first experiment, the students changed the amplitude of the vibrating string, while
keeping the wavelength and the string's tension constant, and measured the resulting
