A package weighing 2000 N is placed on a ramp and attached to a cable that runs over a massless, frictionless pulley,
and a force F is applied to the cable as shown in the Figure below. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the block
and ramp is hk = 0.2, and the coefficient of static friction between the block and the ramp is js = 0.5. The ramp is
inclined at an angle of 42° with respect to the horizontal.
(a) Determine the minimum force F needed to prevent the block from sliding down the ramp.
(b) The cable suddenly snaps. What is the acceleration of the block?

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? i really need . i made an attempt but i just cant get it. a metal rod is 25.000 cm long at 25.0 degrees celsius. when heated to 102.0 degrees celsius, it is 25.054 cm long. what is the coefficient of linear expansion for this metal.
