Follow these steps to compare pieces of sticky tape that have the same charge:
Tear off two pieces of clear sticky tape that are about 15 cm (6 inches) long. Stick the two pieces of tape side by side on the tabletop.
Tear off two more pieces of tape, and fold under a half inch of each piece as shown in the side view. This tab makes them easy to pull off later on. Stick these pieces of tape onto the pieces already on the table and smooth them down.

Using both hands, grab the tabs of the two top pieces of tape. Carefully pull both top pieces of tape off the bottom pieces. Turn the non-sticky sides of the tape toward each other.
