Describe and give an example of a normal force

Normal Force is a contact force. When 2 objects are touching each other, they are in contact. Like when a cup is sitting on a table they are in contact cause the table has to hold the force of the cup up on the table.

A example of normal force is when a book is sitting on a table, and the table is holding the force of the book up.
