Help plz Science is the pursue of knowledge. However, some knowledge can be dangerous. Should ethics be used to determine what knowledge we seek. Why?

What if knowledge could save lives but acquiring that knowledge can hurt or kill? (Experimenting on humans for medical purposes)

What if the only use for a particular technology or advancement is to do harm but understanding it can help defend yourself from others with this knowledge? (Make better guns to test better armor)

Consider nuclear technology, medicine, robotics, space tech and any other scientific discipline
