A stone is thrown vertically with a speed of 5m/s. It came back to thrower in 20sec. Calculate the maximum height it reaches

Lets make use of the equations of motion to solve this problem.

We know time of flight is 2u/g

===> 2u/10 = 20 > u = 100 m/s

Now, we know the initial velocity, we have to find the maximum height.

H = (u^2)/2g = 10^4 / 20 = 500 m
