In the distant future, two space travelers, Jeff and Jane, are approaching Planet Tuvok which orbits another star in our Milky Way Galaxy. Planet Tuvok is similar to Mars and has a circumference of 29,300 km. There is a terrible accident on their spacecraft, so our space travelers get into escape pods, and end up separated from each other, on the surface of Tuvok. Once on the surface, they talk to each other via subspace communicators. Jane tells Jeff that from her location, at the tip of a kite shaped constellation, she can see a bright blue star due South, 30.0 degrees above her southern horizon. Jeff says that he can see the same star, also due South, but it is 45.0 degrees above his southern horizon. How far away from each other are Jeff and Jane? Please give your answer in kilometers, and explain all of your calculations. No credit will be given for a number with no explanation!
