A boat, with a mass of 150kg, stars at rest with an acceleration of +1.5 m/s2 when going in the same direction of the current and engine at its fullest. In a second experiment, the boat, with the same mass, departs from rest in the direction opposite to the current, also at full engine performance. In this second case the acceleration of -1.0m/s2. A Diagram follows.
Ignoring Friction
a) Draw the appropriate Free Body Diagrams
b) FindThe Force applied by the engine.
