A bar 2.0 ft. long is pivoted at its center. A 4.0-lb weight is hung from one end and a 1 -0-1 b weight from the other end. At what distance from pivot (fulcrum) must a 25-lb weight be placed to balance the bar? Make a drawing that illustrates this torque problem. A fishing pole 6.0 ft. long weighs 3.0 lbs and has its center of gravity 2.0 ft. from the handle end. When a fish is at the other end of the pole, it can be balanced at a point 6.0 in. from the fish.
