A car of mass M is sitting on a level surface that leads to a hill of height h. The goal is to shoot some clay of mass m at the cart such that it sticks to the cart and gives it enough speed to reach the top of the hill. What is the minimum speed the clay must be shot at in order to do so? Your final equation should be in terms of M, h,m, and any other known constants.
