Do you think MyPyramid and MyPlate are effective tools for encapsulating the keys to a healthy diet? How would you improve it?

MyPyramid was released by  USDA Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion under which guidance were given on using proper food groups in one's diet. The consumers had the visit the website for getting information on nutrition.

MyPlate is an effective app which aims to build healthy eating habits in it's users.

I believe, MyPlate, is an excellent app which divides foods into four sections, grains, vegetables, fruits and proteins. However, the app can be made better if it can make a diet plan according to each person.
