The Carnot Engine gives us a theoretical upper limit to the efficiency of a heat engine driven between twotemperatures, e= 1−TCTH. Derive the efficiency of the Carnot enginewithoutusing the ideas of Entropy. Hint: Calculate the heat entering and leaving the system during the cycle. Try to simplify using ideal gaslaw and the properties of an adiabatic process.
