Why do metals often make good conductors?

Explanation: Metals are conductors. So they are things that we can plug into an outlet and electricity flows through. Electricity is basically the flow of those electrons that are going through the metal and metals are good conductors because they never hold onto those electrons they're always passing them along so they will always be conductive. However, some metals are better than others. In your electronics you might have some silver or gold because those are realy realy good conductors. Silver is probably the best conductor.
