You would like to build a custom speaker system for your cell phone. the signals from the headphone jack are gnd, left channel, and right channel. you find a speaker test tone app that send a constant tone to each channel. turning the volume to its maximum setting, you measure the voltage between the left channel and gnd to be 2 v. you see a similar voltage when you measure between the right channel and gnd. you will be connecting the left channel to an 8ω, 50 watt speaker. you will connect the right channel to another 8ω, 50 watt speaker. connecting the right or left channel, at maximum volume, directly to a speaker only gives: p space equals v squared over r equals 2 squared over 8 equals 500 space m w of power. in a 50 watt speaker, this isn't enough power to move the diaphragm (no sound). assuming we want the speaker voltage to be in-phase with the phone voltage and we want 50 watts of power at maximum cell phone volume, what amplifier topology, gain, and power rails would be required for each channel?

Two loudspeakers, 5.5 m apart and facing each other, play identical sounds of the same frequency. you stand halfway between them, where there is a maximum of sound intensity. moving from this point toward one of the speakers, you encounter a minimum of sound intensity when you have moved 0.33 m . assume the speed of sound is 340 m/s.part a) what is the frequency of the sound? part b) if the frequency is then increased while you remain 0.21 m from the center, what is the first frequency for which that location will be a maximum of sound intensity? express your answer to two significant figures and include the appropriate units.
