Aplank with a mass m = 5.20 kg rides on top of two identical, solid, cylindrical rollers that have r = 4.00 cm and m = 2.00 kg. the plank is pulled by a constant horizontal force f with arrow of magnitude 4.80 n applied to the end of the plank and perpendicular to the axes of the cylinders (which are parallel). the cylinders roll without slipping on a flat surface. there is also no slipping between the cylinders and the plank.
1. find the initial acceleration of the plank at the moment the rollers are equidistant from the ends of the plank. magnitude - 1 m/s²
2. find the acceleration of the rollers at this moment. magnitude - 3 m/s²
3. what friction forces are acting at this moment? (let fp be the frictional force exerted by each roller on the plank, and let fg be the rolling friction exerted by the ground on each roller.)
fp = 5 n fg = 7 n

The temperature in gavin's oven is a sinusoidal function of time. gavin sets his oven so that it has a maximum temperature of 280°f and a minimum temperature of 240°. once the temperature hits 280°, it takes 20 minutes before it is 280° again. gavin's cake needs to be in the oven for 30 minutes at temperatures at or above 270°. he puts the cake into the oven when it is at 260° and rising. how long will gavin need to leave the cake in the oven? (round your answer to the nearest minute.)
