m₁g - m₂g = (m₁ +m₂)a

9.2 × 9.8  - m₂ × 9.8 = 6.1 × 9.2 + 6.1 × m₂

15.9 m₂ = 34.04

m₂ = 2.14 kg

now putting value of m₂ in equation (1)

T = m₁g - m₁ a

T = 9.2 × 9.8 - 9.2 × 2.14

T = 70.47 N
