a 12 volt emf source connected in series with r1 (3 (); in series r1 there are r2 (2() and lamp 1 (4() which are in parallel with each other. connected in series to that parallel loop is another parallel loop, which includes on one branch, r3 ( r4 ( and lamp 2 (3() in series, and on the other branch of this parallel loop is r5 ( after that parallel branch there is a 20 ( resistor (r6) which is in series with all other components.

6. calculate the following from #5:

a. determine the equivalent resistance of the circuit.

b. what is the current for the entire circuit?

7. calculate the following from #5.

a. the current in resistor 4.

b. the potential difference in lamp 2.

c. the current for resistors 2, 3, 4, 5.

d. the potential difference for resistors 2, 3, 4, 5.
