A recent paper by Kavoi & Jameela (2011) reported that
a part of the brain responsible for olfaction, the olfactory
bulb, is larger in dogs than humans, even after accounting
for differences in overall brain size. Using the principles of
natural or artificial selection, hypothesize how dogs came
to have this larger structure in their brain and predict how
it might impact their behavior.​
