FOR CAT OWNERS: One of the most frustrating things for veterinarians is that when we see cats with renal failure they are often progressed in their disease. Survey three adults that own a cat (non-techs or vets). Using the list of signs, ask the person if he/she would immediately take their cat to a vet or if they would likely give the cat several days to recover on its own or dismiss the sign as a normal change due to aging. List of signs: Increased thirst Drop in appetite
Weight loss
Diarrhea
Vomiting
Increased urination(change in litter box)
