i) Health care and sanitation

The goat should be in well managed sanitary place/pen. The pen of goats should be cleaned in an equal interval of time. They should be managed all in the proper way. Good sanitizing of goat prevents from causing various diseases like brucellosis, diarrhea, bloat, etc.

Some measures to keep goat pen sanitized are,

Clean the pen regularly.

Make sure it is in the area where sunshine is there as it also helps in the prevention of bacteria caused due to wetness.

The pen may be cleaned with water.

The flooding must be in a proper way.

It will help the goats to be prevented from diseases as well as let them be more productive.

ii) Feeding

Feeding is one of the major factors for making goat production better. Feeding should be done in proper time. The goat must be feed with different nutrition, as per the nature of goat. Similarly, they also should be grazed in a free land where various types of good and nutritive grass are found. Likewise, the system of water should be also well managed.
