The initial height is when the rocket hasn't actually launched yet. to find this, take t as 0. this means that your time = 0, so this is before the launch. if you substitute t = 0 into the equation you get:

0 + 0 + 2

= 2
so the initial height, when t=0 is 2 meters

If you divide 0.1 and 0.6 you wii get 0.166666 which rounds to .167 which is answer b
