So, when making a story problem, one thing that you would really want to do is making the story make sense in this regard. so, let's suppose a birthday party, and that they would be 5 kids set everything up. but then, 1/3 of the rest of the group decide that they can not come by to , but only attend. so then, we would then have to multiply in order to see how many people actually attended this party. therefore, after we have resolved this, we then find that they answer would then be 1.6 who have attended to out before the party.
