Problem 1:

The vertical line and the horizontal line are perpendicular to each other, so they form right angles.

x + 61 = 90

x = 90 - 61

x = 29

Problem 2:

Vertical angles are congruent. They have the same measure.

m<1 = m<2 = 93 deg
