Angle 1 and angle 2 are supplementary angles. angle 1 = 3x. angle 2 = 5x+10. what is the measure of angle 1?

3x = 5x + 10 
-5x + 3x = 10 
-2x = 10 
-2   = -2 
   x  = 5 
3(5) = 15 

Angle 1 is 15
