The opposite of a positive number will NEVER be a positive number.
Example: The opposite of 2 is -2.

The opposite of a number will SOMETIMES be greater than the number itself.
Example: The opposite of 3 is -3. The opposite of -4 is 4.

1- NEVER because if your number is 2 then the oppisite would be -2

2- SOMETIMES because if your number is -5 the oppisite would 5 but if you have a number like 4 then the opposite would be -4
