-8x-4(2x-5)=-20
-16x+20=-20

Add -20 on each side
-16x+20+-20=-20+-20
-16x = -40

Divide each side by -16
16x / -16 = -40 / -16
x = 5/2 or 2.5
now we have x

To find Y Substitute 2.5 for X in y=2x-5
y = 2(2.5)-5
y = 0

X = 5/2 or 2.5 and Y = 0
