3). $11 per 6 pencils . . . $1.83 per pencil

4). 7 inches per 5 hours . . 1.4 inches per hour

5). $17 per 8 bars . . . . . $2.13 per bar

6). $20 per 5 tickets . . . . $4 per ticket 

7). 95 miles per 8 gallons . . 11.88 miles per gallon (or 0.084 gallon per mile)

8). $140 per 5 calculators . . . $28 per calculator

9). $22 per 9 batteries . . . . . $2.44 per battery

The part I don't understand is:    What does"tomato" have to do with anything ?
