Then I written the equation y=mx + b. I wrote out -4 = -1/3 (6) + b because I plugged in the x and y values. Then I solved for b. The result I got for b was -2. 

After solving for b, the equation I found was y= -1/3x-2

The answer to this question is Y= -1/3 - 2
