There are two boxes on a balance. There are an unknown number of marbles in the left-hand box, and an unknown number of marbles
in the right-hand box.
Initially, the balance looks like Figure 1.
When 22 marbles are taken from the left-hand box and placed in the right-hand box, the balance
tips over and looks like Figure 2.
When 14 marbles are then taken from the right-hand box and placed in the left-hand box, the
balance tips over and looks like Figure 1 again. Suppose you subtract the original number of marbles in the right-hand box from the original number of marbles in the left-hand box.
Find the difference between the largest possible result, and the smallest possible result, from this
subtraction.

Given: ae ≅ ce ; de ≅ be prove: abcd is a parallelogram. we have that ab || dc. by a similar argument used to prove that △aeb ≅ △ced, we can show that △ ≅ △ceb by. so, ∠cad ≅ ∠ by cpctc. therefore, ad || bc by the converse of the theorem. since both pair of opposite sides are parallel, quadrilateral abcd is a parallelogram.
