Help me with this question, please. Does sensory deprivation have an effect on a person's alpha-wave frequency? Twenty volunteer subjects were random divided into two groups. Subjects in group A were subjected to a 10-day period of sensory deprivation, while subjects in group B served as controls. At the end of the experimental period the alpha-wave frequency component of subjects electroencephalograms were measured (Let α = .05).
The results were as follows:
Group A: 10.2, 9.5, 10.1, 10.0, 9.8, 10.9, 11.4, 10.8, 9.7, 10.4
