They are getting a little rowdy with each other, so DeShawn thinks it would be a good idea to separate the puppies into two pens. Since he doesn't want them to be too far away from each other, he decides that he will construct the pens so that they are right next to each other and have the same length (y/2) and width (x). He imagines the pens to look like this:

DeShawn has 120 feet of fencing for the pens. He likes his design because putting the two pens together not only lets the pups play safely with each other, but also uses less fencing than if he made both pens separate. Brilliant!
