Students drop the same heavy ball into a tub of water from different heights. For each height, they measure the amount of water splashed out of the tub and then refill the tub to the original amount. The steps of their experiment are described below.
Fill the tub with 60 L of water
Drop the ball into the tub from 10 cm above the water and then remove ball
Refill the tub back to 60 L of water
Complete 3 more trials for 25 cm, 50 cm, and 1 meter
A. Drop a different ball into the tub from 10 cm above the water and then remove the ball
B. Measure the new amount of water in the tub and subtract it from 60L
C. Empty the tub of water before the next trial
