I'm solving the equation x^3+9x^2+16x-6=0, so I made a Descarte's Table; which told me I'd have 1 positive root and either 2 or 0 negative roots. However, the roots come out to be -3-√11, -3+√11, and -3. So my question is: why are none of the answers positive real numbers? I thought since the table said I'd have 1 positive that at least one of the answers would be as such. Am I doing something wrong? What am I missing?
